FSC Certified Paper
Responsibly sourced paper and bioboard from certified, sustainably managed forests. Used in hot cups, cold cups, takeaway boxes and bags.
PLA Bioplastic
Polylactic acid derived from corn starch or sugarcane. Used as cup linings and clear cold cups. Plant-based, never fossil-fuel derived.

What food or drink are you serving?
Hot liquids need PE or PLA-lined cups with tight-fitting CPLA lids. Cold drinks need clear PLA cups with sipper or flat lids. Oily or saucy food needs sugarcane or PE-lined bases. Dry food is flexible.
Dine-in, takeaway or delivery?
Delivery needs leak-resistant seals — choose kraft bases with RPET lids or sealed clamshells. Dine-in can use open plates and bowls. Takeaway sits in between.
Do you have access to commercial composting?
If yes (via FOGO or a Compost Connect partner), choose PLA-lined and sugarcane products for true compostable disposal. If no, PE-lined paper products still go in standard recycling streams.
